Star would have been more like it. While I do see a sort of spiral in the flower it mostly forms into a shape of a star as the lines spiral to the center. Then again you might have just been applying to this look when naming this photo "spiral". Thanks to the slight blurriness around the entrance of the photo it's kind of like staring down at a vortex, but with something sticking out of it in the middle. I say it looks good so nice job.

Oh yeah, you're right~ It does look more like a star~

I was just looking at the flower while taking a photo of it and thought the middle bits looked sorta like they spiraled in the middle. But not that you mentioned it, it does look like a star~
